How are players selected?
The players are selected to participate in the BEFC by the BEFC Selection Committee. Every year, the BEFC is marketed to high school coaches and student-athletes throughout the state of Wisconsin, along with schools throughout the Midwest. Furthermore, elite athletes in good standing, with a GPA above 2.3, are also eligible to apply to the BEFC regardless if from the Midwest. High school coaches are asked to recommend a student-athlete for the BEFC. Turning in the BEFC application DOES NOT guarantee acceptance into the BEFC.  Final selections to the BEFC are solely at the discretion of the BEFC Selection Committee.

What is the criterion for eligibility?

  • High School Football athletes currently in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade.
  • All-Conference recognition or better or written coaches' recommendation.
  • Accurate and completed application submitted by the application due date.
  • You must have a 2.3 GPA or better and be in good standing.

How do I apply?
Combine has been cancelled for 2020.

How will I know if I have been selected?
You will receive an acceptance email from the BEFC Program Director.

What do I do once I've been accepted?
The email from the BEFC program director will give you specific registration details with documents and waivers that must be completed and returned on time to guarantee your spot. You will also receive instructions on how to pay the registration fee at this time. Completed waivers, documents, and payments are due by date specified in the letter you will receive from the BEFC program director. Failure to complete and return the above items will result in forfeiture of your acceptance to the BEFC, and your position may be offered to another qualified elite athlete.

What is the cost to participate in the BEFC?
The cost of attending the BEFC is $125. Once you have been accespted to thhe BEFC, this payment is non-refundable. This fee will cover the cost of your BEFC T-shirt, BEFC shorts, lunch, and your results compiled and posted on the BEFC website.

How many positions may I apply and participate in?
Due to the amount of athletes expected at the BEFC and the time constraints, we will only allow an athlete to apply and participate in one position, (i.e. If a player plays two positions in high school, please select a position that you feel you would play in college). The variety of drills and skills demonstrated will give college coaches a true understanding of the player's speed, strength and agility.

What if I am accepted but unable to attend?
If you have been accepted and now are unable to attend, and have not completed the registration and payment, there is no need to complete at this time. Please however respond to the acceptance email you received notifying the BEFC Program Director of your declination.  This allows the BEFC committee the opportunity to offer your position to another eligible elite athlete.
If you have been accepted and now are unable to attend, and have completed the registration and payment, please email the BEFC Program Director to inform them of your resignation. This allows the BEFC committee the opportunity to offer your position to another eligible elite athlete.  Upon resignation No payment will be refunded.
